Aug 2, 2009: RBCC kept their successful 2009 Premier League Championship campaign alive after overcoming a late spirited effort from FCCC's Rajesh Idate in this evenly contested nail-biter of a game. It was yet another instance of standing tall in the middle for Rajesh when the top order failed to produce. Chasing 155, FCCC needed 50 odds runs in 10 overs with only 2 wickets in hand. Rajesh scored 37 runs in 39 balls with some lusty hits to the boundary, including a huge lofted six over long-on against the fastest and most exciting bowler in the league, Noman Khan. Partnership between Rajesh and Mike Riley tilted the match towards FCCC. When Mike got out, FCCC needed 11 runs in the last 12 balls and Rajesh was on strike. He was clean bowled by Altaf on the 1st ball of 39th over. It was so close yet so far.
