Player Of The Week - Oct 1, 2008

 Kervyn Dimney (CSCC-Stars)

Kervyn Dimney's aggressive 85 runs off 57 balls studded with 9 fours and 2 sixes, combined with an opening partnership of 128 runs in the first 14 overs for the first wicket with Vikas Chugh(38) while chasing a huge target of 252 against FCCC, set the tone for the CSCC chase and victory. He also bowled very well earlier claiming a wicket and calming down the FCCC onslaught in the last 10 overs.

He is also the only CCL Player that has accummulated more than 1000 runs in this 2008 or any given season so far (followed by LCC's Randika Ferando's 672), acheiving this with 2 unbeaten centuries and 7 half-centuries (This is including both the Premier & Twenty20 League games).

Congratulations Kervyn Dimney(CSCC) on being picked the POTW for a job well done by bringing victory to CSCC and finishing up the CSCC's Premier League season on a high note; and acheiving 1000+ runs in a season.
