Player Of The Week - Aug 5, 2011

 Sriram Akella (FRCC-K)

Here is another youngster Sriram Akella from FRCC with an extraordinary and remarkable all round performance of his own that helped FRCC win their premier game by 28 runs against FCCC.

This stylish left handed batsman, leg-break bowler is one of the best and young all-rounders we have in the league. Akella has been consistent with the bat and ball throughout this season and while he is batting, he always communicates very well with his mates/batting partner providing valuable inputs with shot selection, etc.

This week Akella marked his best bowling performance in CCL by claiming 6 wickets with excellent bowling figures 7.4-0-22- 6 and also scored 37 runs from 46 balls with 2 maximum ones which earned him MOM.

Congratulations Sriram Akella !!
