Congratulations to Dhiren Patel (LCC) on being chosen POTW!
Dhiren is making this quite the habit and its a great habit as well. In a low scoring and tense semi-final, Dhiren scored a quickfire cameo of 26 runs that included 4 boundaries to give his team a good start, batting first. When the LCC innings finally folded for 133 runs, it was "game-on" for the underdogs- CSCC. They did come close and got to within 16 runs with 2 wickets left for the victory but Dhiren came back into the attack to bowl out the final two batsmen to complete a heroic five-for and get the win for his team. This will be LCC's sixth straight tournament final appearance in the League.
Well done, Dhiren!
A special mention must also be made for Naveen Kumar (FCCC). He led his team- FCCC into the final as well by putting in a strong all-round Man-of-the-Match performance in the other semi-final by scoring 57 crucial runs and taking 4 CCCC wickets. Well done, Naveen!
