Formation of 2 Committees - Points System & League Divisions

As many of you know that we decided that CCL-LMC would decide about a variety of things.

I want to emphasis one point before we proceed. The nature of these committees is advisory and advisory only. These committees are tasked to come-up with well thought and debated proposals that LMC will have authority to approve. These committees are not the forums for equal club representation. Please contact myself or any EC member for any further clarification. I encourage all of you to provide your input to these committees if you have a any suggestions.

Each committee has a Chairman, whose duties include, but are certainly not limited to:

  • Heading any meeting that takes place.
  • Communicating with the CCL-EC and the committee members.
  • In case the committee members decide to vote, the chairman will have the right to cast his vote to break the tie. (I would encourage him to engage the committee in another round of discussion and see if decision can be made).
  • Coordinating all communications among the committee members.

With the mutual understanding of the CCL-EC, I have formed the following two committees:

CCL Regular season points system Committee :

The Chairman of the committee is Raymond Mascarenhas. His duties are listed above.

The other members of the Point System Committee are:

  • Swadeep Pagadala
  • Ganesh Sharma
  • Vamshi Kyatham
  • Abhay Natu

The committee is advised to present their proposal to the CCL-EC no later than December 15th 2004. Once the proposal is received, CCL-EC will review it and will present it to the LMC for approval. If approved it will become the points system we will use in 2005.

If you want to have your suggestion taken into account you can contact the chairman of the committee at Raymond.Mascarenhas@elpaso.com

The Committee on League Division System.:

The Chairman of the committee is Ganesh Sharma. His duties are listed above.

The other members of the other members of the Committee are:

  • Mike Riley
  • Hassan Ahmed
  • Rajesh Joshi
  • Rajesh Solanki

The committee is advised to present their proposal to the CCL-EC no later than January 15th 2005. Once the proposal is received, CCL-EC will review it and will present it to the LMC for approval about how and when to implement it.

If you want to have your suggestion taken into account you can contact the chairman of the committee at gs@fc.hp.com.
