Weekly Match Summary Reports

CCCC Vs RBCC - 12-Oct-2008 - Reported by Tahir Rana(RBCC)

RBCC won the toss and elected to field first. CSCC started their inning very cautiously by putting 30+ runs on the board without losing any wickets. RBCC had Kervyn and Vicky in check by not allowing to play their natural aggressive out of skin innings with control and affecting bowling changes, and thus resulted in getting four wickets of CSCC at 75 runs on board in 10 overs. RBCC was very much in control of this game in first fifteen overs, but in last three to five overs RBCC lost their game plan and allowed Narayan(33) and Mehmood(65*) to get away with some hard hitting and brought CSCC to 175 runs on board in 20 overs. Besides Narayan and Mehmood Kervyn, Vicky and Shobhan contributed some solid runs to bring CSCC to post their highest 20/20 total against RBCC.

RBCC started their innings with positive attitude and put CSCC on the back foot right a way. Faiq Abbas and Srikanth Desai posted close to 30+ runs in first three overs. Once Faiq got out, Aamer continued the run chase with some huge sixes and powerful hard hitting and help RBCC post close to 75 runs on board in first 7 overs. Unfortunately, Aamer misread Rohit’s in-dipper and got bowled for a solid 39 runs to his name. Rest of RBCC players continued to level up to the high run chase pace set by Aamer and Faiq and got all out for 142 runs in 18.4 overs, thus providing a hard and tough fight to CSCC.

MoM: Mehmood Khan(CSCC) for his 65* and 2 wickets.

As reported by Shashidher Reddy(CSCC)

RBCC won the toss and elected to field first. CSCC scored 175 in 20 overs, openers Kervyn (18) Vikas (19) and then middle order Narayan (33) & Mehmood played a great knock making 65* to make sure CSCC ended with defendable total. For RBCC Aamer took 2 wickets.

RBCC started their innings with a plan and did well in first 10 overs scoring 80+ but then lost wickets regularly. Aamer (39) was the top scorer for RBCC, and with Tarun (22) and Altaf (13) brought RBCC close to 142. For CSCC Rohit Shah was the pick of bowlers who took 4 wickets which included the crucial wicket of Aamer Chowdury who was in a good form. Mehmood took 2 wickets, while Kervyn, Shashi and Sandeep shared 1 wicket each.
MoM : Mehmood for his good knock of 65* and for taking 2 wickets.
