30 DAY COUNTDOWN Begins for the Rocky Mountain State Games.
Get ready to participate in the 2017 RMSG.

16TH ANNUAL ROCKY MOUNTAIN STATE GAMES - 40+ SPORTS - JULY 21-23 & 28-30

Colorado Springs Cricket Club(CSCC) is once again, along with Colorado Springs Sports Corporation, hosting the Rocky Mountain State Games(RMSG) this year. The RMSG provides us with cricket exposure at the city and state level and has been a big help in promoting cricket in the region.

The RMSG is the state's largest multi-sport festival for athletes of all ages and athletic abilities including those with physical disabilities or visual impairment. More than 10,000 athletes are expected to compete in the 2017 RMSG primarily over two weekends this summer, July 21-23 and 28-30, in the 40+ sports offered to competitors at venues in Colorado Springs.

The RMSG Military Support Program has been created by the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation to encourage military service members and their families of Colorado to participate in the Games and offers up to a 50% discount off the normal registration fees.

The event host, Colorado Springs Sports Corporation, is anticipating a fourth consecutive year with more than 10,000 athletes competing. Last summer a record 10,513 athletes competed in front of an estimated 15,700+ spectators.

During times you are not participating in the Rocky Mountain State Games, we encourage you to come out and volunteer! Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks and areas including: athlete check-in, set-up/tear-down, crowd and traffic direction, scoring, awards ceremonies, and many other activities. If you are interested and available, complete the volunteer application.

Look out for more details regards the format, schedule, etc in the next coming weeks.

See the 2017 RMSG Promo video. Cricket is featured at 00:10 with CSCC players Viswa(as the striker), Vamsi(as the non-striker) and Raymond(as the Umpire).
If you also noticed the image in this article, you'll see that cricket is featured in it too with ex-CSCC player Sourabh Choudhary striking the ball.
