UPDATES & RESULTS - 2017 RMSG Tennisball Cricket - 30-July-2017

The playoff weekend of the RMSG tennis games ended in an anti-climax with rain playing villain just before the finals were scheduled to start. As a result the finals have been postponed to Sunday, August 13th at 8:30 am at Memorial Park.

Earlier in the day the path to the finals was determined. In the first match of the day, local team Royal Strikers took on the CTCL champions, Jaguars, in the only quarter finals. Royal Strikers failed to put up a big score ending with just 52 runs in their 10 overs. But they bowled and fielded like professionals. At one point Jaguars needed just 20 in 4 overs but they kept losing wickets and in the end were all out for 40.
