Faiq is a right hand batsman and right arm off spinner. He played most of his cricket back in Karachi, Pakistan. He used to play as a middle order batsman for Al Shahbaz Cricket club for Zone V in Karachi. He moved to US for his further studies and then moved to Colorado in 2007 for his business. He met some cricketers from FCC in his store and that brought him to the cricket ground where he decided to join RBCC.

He is currently based in Fort Collins. He is a solid middle order pillar of RBCC batting. One of the amazing skills Faiq got is to hit the ball out of the ground cleanly with ease and command. His best what I have seen this year (2008) is in CSU ground where he made 45* of 25 balls which included 4 huge sixes to good fast bowlers. He is very enthusiastic and committed cricketer. A lot more to come from his bat and we all are waiting for it...
