He helped ensure that CCB went past the 250+ mark with a couple of small partnerships with his playmates as they ended their innings at 294 for 9 wickets in their 40 overs.

Playing against FRCC-K in a Twenty20 game, he was sent in again as a middle-order batsman, to help stop the fall of wickets as CCB were 3 for 41. With his calmness, he steadied the CCB innings by sticking in and kept the CCB scoreboard ticking. Rajesh Rathod's steadfast batting ended with another well made half-century of 50 runs in 42 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes. His innings helped ensure that CCB ended up with a more than decent total of 155 for 8 wickets.
